KHP
Welcome

KHP is "Street Rock"
In the 70's they used the term "street rock" in the U.K. to describe the bands that were mixing different genres to make their own.  KHP is a band that brings all kinds of music together using basic alternative music with hip-hop roots and the incorporation of a DJ, so we are bringing this term back.  From the streets of Utah, we are KHP

What is KHP?

KHP was formed in Syracuse, Utah in 2008 and have dubbed their style as "Street Rock". The original lineup consisted of Kristian Heald (Rhythm Guitar/Lead Vocals), Jason Gough (Drums), Clint Brace (Lead Guitar), and Brian Torguson (Bass Guitar) but in 2009 they added DJ Richard "Mixin" Millspaw to complete the lineup.

KHP has songs ranging from ballads to heavy rock with even some hip-hop influence mixed in, Because of this diversity they have shared the stage with bands ranging from alternative bands like Saving Abel to metal bands like Otep.

KHP released their first 7 song EP titled "55°C" independently in September of 2011. It features a cover of the Tom Jones Song "Delilah" along with 6 original songs. KHP shows their diversity on this EP by doing Ambient Rock sounds on the song "Direction" or Metal/Hip-hop styling on "Leadlight Iris".  KHP are currently working on their first full length album coming soon!
